Helen
J. (Shepherd) Akers, of Toledo, OH,
passed away peacefully Wednesday
November 22, 2006, at her home with
family and friends by her side.
Helen
was employed for many years with G.M.
Hydromatic, retiring in 2003. She
loved to decorate and redecorate her
home, family and friends would
lovingly call her a “frustrated
interior decorator”. Helen loved
an occasional run to the casino with
friends and playing online computer
games.
She
will be sadly missed by her children
Ursula (Jim) Gauley, Robin (Jeff)
Perry, Earl (Sue) Akers, and Felicia
(Jim) Derr; grandchildren Stacey,
Nick, Josh, Jessica, and Jennifer;
great-granddaughter Haylei; sisters
Margie Bollinger and Linda Spurlock;
brothers Ron Bollinger, Howard and
Paul Mexico; loving longtime friend
Bill; and her faithful K-9 Companion
Sassy. Helen was preceded in death
by her sister Virginia Lawn.

Sunday November 26th from
4 – 9 PM, where Funeral Services
will be held Monday at 1 PM.
Interment will follow at Toledo
Memorial Park.
