Marjorie Lee Lange

1930 to 2007

Marjorie Lee Lange, 77, cast off her earthly bonds on April 4 after a lengthy fight with cancer. Margie, one of 11 children, was born in
Toledo to Frederick and Emma Wegener (Boesling) in 1930.  She was graduated from Whitmer High School in 1945 and soon began a
career at DeVilbiss Co. that ended decades later with her holding the  position of secretary to the treasurer. She then worked for the
accounting firm Ernst & Young, from which she retired in 1985.  Her great passions in life were working on her crafts and maintaining
her beautiful yard and garden. She spent many years working in the alter guild at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was strong in her Christian faith. She carried the following prayer in her purse:
"Father in Heaven hear my prayer Keep me in Thy loving care
Be my guide in all I do Bless all those who love me too."

Margie was greatly loved by her family and friends, and she held
unbounded love for them, always willing to sacrifice to help others.
She was a woman who overcame much pain and suffering in her life by her enormous strength and resilience, fighting until her last breath. She
will be sorely missed.

Margie is survived by William John Lange, her husband of 58 years; son
Richard (Susan Pioch); daughter Linda Staccone (Tracy); grandson Lucas
Dashner (Amanda); granddaughter Nicole Staccone; twin sister Margaret
Orban (Ron); sister Carol Ballert (Bill); brother Harry Wegener, and
numerous nephews and nieces.

Preceding her in death are her parents, three sisters, and four
brothers.

Visitation will be Monday, April 9, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Reeb Funeral
Home, 5712 N. Main St., in Sylvania. A memorial service will be held at
11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3934 W. Laskey Road, in Toledo.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
