Catherine J.
“Katie” Dryer, 80, a
long time resident of Sylvania
Township, passed away Tuesday
October 9, 2007, at her home
surrounded by loved ones.
The
most important things in Catherine’s
life were her family, she took great
pride in raising her children and
grandchildren, and they always came
first. She was the former owner and
operator of Dryer’s Country Crafts
for more than 10 years. Catherine
was an accomplished artist, and was
a Board Member of the Toledo Artist
Guild. She was a long time member of
the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post
2898.
Catherine was the widow of Eugene
“Bud” Dryer who died in 2002, and is
survived by her daughter Debbie
(Michael) McClure; sons William
(Linda) and Gerald Dryer;
grandchildren Patti Barfield,
Shannon Velazquez of Florida, Tammy
Pierson, Michelle Dryer, Erin
McClure of Florida, Brett McClure,
and Tommy Dryer; 7
great-grandchildren; and sister Jo
Ellen Coulson. She was preceded in
death by her loving son Ronald Dryer
in 1990; sister Lois Rowland; and
brother Gerald Thomas.

Friday October 12th from
4 – 9 PM; where the Ladies Auxiliary
of VFW Post 2898 will conduct a
service at 7 PM. Funeral Services
will be conducted at 11 AM, Saturday
at the Funeral Home. Pastor William
Fink of the St. James Lutheran
Church will officiate.
