John R. Matzinger
Monday, November 26, 2007 at St.
Charles Hospital.
John was a U.S Army Paratrooper with
the 101st Airborne Division,
serving
in Korea. He was employed as a
plumber until his retirement. John
was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a
member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge
No. 123, Perrysburg, as well as the
Zenobia Shrine.
He is survived by his only son:
Michael Matzinger, of Toledo, who
will miss him deeply; sisters: Helen
Simpson, of Luckey and Marjory
Pieplow, of Jeffersonville, KY;
brothers: Charles Matzinger, of
LANSING, MI and Dale (Cheryl)
Matzinger; four grandchildren; one
great grandson; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral
Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, on
Friday, November 30th, 2007 from
5:00PM until 9:00PM, where the
Phoenix Masonic Lodge No. 123 will
conduct a service at 7:00PM. The
funeral service will be held on
Saturday, at the funeral home at
11:00AM. Interment will follow in
Toledo Memorial Park, with Military
Honors
