Margaret L. (Wright) Brenner,
90, a long time resident of
Ottawa Hills, passed away
Thursday December 27, 2007, at
The Toledo Hospital.
Margaret
was born in Reynoldsburg, OH,
October 13, 1917, to parents
Arthur and Flora (Ruetsch)
Evans.
She was an active, faithful
member of the Grace Lutheran
Church, Toledo. Margaret served
as a member of Church Council,
Ruth Circle, was instrumental in
setting up the church library
and was active in the social
ministry program at Grace. She
also volunteered many hours at
Chaplin’s offices of Flower
Hospital, Lake Park, and the
Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek.
Margaret had also been a member
of the St. Vincent Mercy
Hospital Auxiliary Guild for
many years. She was also an
extensive traveler and enjoyed
spending many summers at Dyers
Bay, Canada.
Margaret is survived by her
loving daughters Barbara Wright
and Brenda Gillespie, both of
Toledo, OH; step-daughter Elaine
(Jim) Wadleigh of Palm Springs,
CA; grandchildren Kimberly
(Billy) Hunter, Gregory
Gillespie, and David (Maureen)
and Daniel (Marianne) Wadleigh.
She was preceded in death by her
husband of more than 34 years,
Elmon Wright; sister Eleanor
Snyder; and most recently by her
second husband of 15 years Rev.
Karl Brenner.

Sylvania, OH, Sunday December 30th
from 2 – 9 PM. Margaret’s life
will be celebrated at the Grace
Lutheran Church, Monday at 11
AM. Pastors Merlin E. Jacobs and
Dennis E. Laumen officiating.
Margaret will be laid to rest
beside Elmon at the Forest Lawn
Memorial Gardens Columbus, OH,
Wednesday at 2:00 PM.

Margaret’s family would like to
