Dale
Allen Frank, Sr.,
age 76, passed away Sunday, January
20th, 2008, in his Sylvania home
surrounded by his family. Dale was
born on August 28,
1931, in Erie, MI, to Arthur and
Bernita (Meadows) Frank. They
preceded him in death. A U. S. Army
Veteran, Dale served courageously
during the Korean War. For over 40
years, he worked for Toledo Paving,
Inc., initially as a heavy machine
operator and later as a salesman
until retiring. Dale was a loving
husband, the greatest dad ever, and
a top-of-the-line grandpa. He
enjoyed building things, especially
motor homes with his sons as well as
camping and boating. Left to cherish
his memory are his wife of 53 years,
Joyce; children, Debra (Dale) Maier,
Dale (Kimberly) Frank, Daryl Frank,
and JoEllen "Josie" Dodds;
grandchildren, Holly, Dusty, Dale
Paul, Justin, Chasity, Crystal,
Rachel, and Nathan; 11
great-grandchildren and 2 on the
way; special uncle, Sheldon Meadows;
and nephews, David and Dennis
Meadows and Gene Morrison.
Visitation will be held at the Reeb
Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St.,
Sylvania, Tuesday, January 22nd,
2008 from 3-9 p.m., where the
funeral service will be held on
Wednesday at 1 p.m., Rev. Dennis E.
Lauman officiating. Contributions in
Dale's memory made to his beloved
wife, Joyce, would be appreciated.
