Planning Worksheet
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
| Ask yourself the following questions: |
| 1. What mood are you trying to create, funny,
sentimental or both? |
| 2. How long will guests stay interested in your
show?
15 minutes Gold Show
10 minutes Silver Show
6 minutes
Platinum Show
4 minutes
Starter Show |
| 3. How many good photos can you really put
together? Does it match your answer to number 2 above? |
| 4. Do you want your show to display someone's life
chronologically, thematically? Through the years approach is most
common, however, some people want to highlight their new spouses
interests, hobbies or their many faces and moods. Churches will
typically break their shows into themes, youth ministry, children's
ministry etc... |
| 5. For weddings, do you want your spouses growing
years to be separate, the groom growing up, then the bride growing up and
then you together. Some couples want to see the groom in first grade
then the bride in first grade and so on... |

| Scanning Hints: |
| 1. Clean you scanner with a cotton cloth before you

dust can take away from the quality of your show.
2. Scan each photo and save
it in .jpg format. Number each
picture with a three digit number starting with 001 and ending with the
last number in your show. For a Gold package it would be
001-150.
3. Make sure the number assigned matches the order in which you
would like to display your photos in your show.
4. Create separate folders for each section of your show and put
the photos in the appropriate sub folder.

000-025; Brides growing up years 026-050;

CAPTIONS
| Captions used in the intro set the mood, but often times
you can carry that theme through to your photos and personalize some
captions that create an extra special presentation. You can add
captions to your show based on the package size you purchased |
| Caption Hints: |
| 1. Create a caption list that identifies the 3 digit
photo number and the exact text and spelling you want added. You can
specify the font, however our designers are great at adding the fonts that
work best.
2. Do not put captions on the digital image, the disk, on sticky
notes, or on the photos themselves.
3. Recommend you keep the the captions short and to the point.
Unless you want a quote, scripture, or poem on a title slide, however we
recommend you keep this approach limited to an intro or an ending.
4. Emphasize the lyrics of the song that make the point you were
trying to make and we will put them on the screen exactly when they are
sung timing a special picture to the words. |
MUSIC SELECTIONS
| Your music selection is the most critical in setting your
mood and can affect the length of your slide show album. |
| Music Hints: |
| 1. Recommend both upbeat and sentimental for tears
and laughter.
2. Do the words match the photos I have selected?
3. Choose songs that have special family meaning or special
meaning to the couple |
